The Southern Metropolitan Regional Council (SMRC) has written a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. The plan describes how the SMRC is working to make sure its services are accessible to everyone including people with disabilities. The current plan can be viewed on the SMRC website or copies can be made available on request and in alternative formats if required.

Community consultation is an important part of the review process, and we would like to hear from any residents who would like to have input into the development of the new plan. To register your comments please forward in writing to Teresa Belcher, SMRC, 9 Aldous Place, Booragoon WA or email For more information contact Teresa at the SMRC Office on 08 9329 2700.

Please note that this stage of the community consultation process closes on Friday 23 January 2021. After that time, all information received will be reviewed and a draft copy of the proposed Disability Access and Inclusion Plan will be published. A copy of this draft plan will be made available for final review prior to formal adoption by Council.
